The purpose of the Buddy Program is to welcome new members in a personal way, and to help them become comfortable at chapter meetings.  Any newcomer who wants a buddy will be greeted by an "old" member who will sit with them at the meetings, introduce then to other members, and try to answer their questions about NAPO, NAPO-NE, and the professional organizing industry. The purpose of the Success Groups is to provide informal networking opportunities outside of the traditional format and location of regular monthly NAPO-NE Chapter meetings for members who either (a) may not be able to attend on a regular basis or (b) may wish to discuss other topics than those offered in the meetings in a more intimate, informal, unstructured and personalized setting, including both face-to-face and web or conference call meetings.
