will share what they learned at the sessions. Hear about the
highlights and get inspired to attend next year!

Clarissa Rodriguez and Margaret Crawford will
present the following Open Space Exercise for the August 2005
meeting. "Open Space was created in the
mid 1980's when it was discovered that people attending meetings
and conferences loved the breaks more than the formal
presentations and sessions.
In this meeting within a meeting, facilitators
will help participants share their most engaging ideas, develop
innovative solutions, and take action to make them happen. A
whirlwind of activity is guided from within by a handful of
simple principles. Participants create their own meeting
according to what they are most passionate about."

"Tips for Professional
Organizing with ADHD Clients"
Presenter:
Victoria Ball,
Med., MCC, an active member of the ADHD Association
Description:
ADD
coaching usually incorporates a strong component of organizing
activities, such as a client’s personal life, home, work, family
activities, etc., since disorganization is one of the hallmarks
of ADD. Since a coach often does not work in person or on-site
with a client, it could be extremely effective to have a team of
an ADD Coach and Professional Organizer to work together to
support a client. Many typical professional organizing concepts
do not work well with ADD clients. A Professional Organizer who
is knowledgeable about ADD would be a tremendous asset and
resource. Victoria Ball, an ADD Career Coach, will share some
of her knowledge and experience with ADD Clients to encourage us
to add the ADD client as one of our business niches. |
