Why Become a member?
The National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO-NE) is dedicated to increasing public awareness of, and respect for, the professional organizing industry; educating NAPO-NE members; and promoting members' businesses. NAPO-NE welcomes and supports aspiring and experienced organizers (regular members) as well as companies that are affiliated with the organizing industry (associate members). The second largest NAPO chapter, NAPO-NE services clients from the New England states of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

How to Join - Regular Membership

NAPO-NE provides a Regular Membership for professional organizers.

What are the benefits to joining NAPO-NE?

Joining NAPO-NE is a great way to develop relationships with fellow NAPO members, receive on-going education and receive valuable information to support your organizing business. For a complete list of how NAPO-NE can support you go to NAPO-NE Chapter Benefits.

How do I join NAPO-NE as a Regular Member?

There are two easy ways to become a NAPO-NE regular member.

NOTE: In order to join NAPO-NE you must also be a member of NAPO.

  1. Come to a meeting and join at the door. More information about our meeting schedule here.
     
  2. Print out application form, complete it and mail with a check made payable to NAPO-New England.

  3. View and print NAPO-NE's Visitor Information Packet. Items contained in this packet are:

    • NAPO Code of Ethics (Page 7)

No matter which way you choose to join you will be required to submit your membership dues. Membership dues for NAPO-New England is prorated based on the month you join, and we offer reduced dues for members who are located more than 60 miles from Newton, MA. See our membership application for more details. The NAPO-NE chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) covers the New England states of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Connecticut now has its own chapter.

The term of membership in NAPO-NE is October 1 - September 30. Membership in NAPO is required for NAPO-NE membership. Your application for membership to NAPO-NE cannot be processed until your membership in NAPO is confirmed. If your NAPO membership expires, you cease to be a NAPO-NE member, and you will not receive a refund from NAPO-NE.

Individuals applying for NAPO-NE membership must complete its Membership Application Form after, or concurrently with, applying for NAPO membership. To join NAPO go to http://www.napo.net/join_napo/.

How to Join - Associate Membership

NAPO-NE offers an additional level of membership for companies or individuals whose businesses complement professional organizers. The Associate Member program provides participating members opportunities for increased business via greater visibility to and relationship building with the 140-plus members of our chapter. NAPO-NE’s regular members benefit by having a network of known, complementary resources to support client engagements.

Who is an Associate Member?

An Associate Member represents a company that is involved in the design, manufacture, distribution and/or sales of organizing products, or any other company that benefits from having professional organizers as clients, sources of referrals, sources for research of new products or sales ideas, or sources of information. 

What can an Associate Member expect from participating in NAPO-NE programs?

Through our program, Associate Members have opportunity for increased visibility within NAPO-NE and opportunities to market and network with the NAPO-NE members.

What offerings are included with Associate Membership?

The offerings include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Visibility and an extended listing on the NAPO-NE website
  • Access to NAPO-NE’s Members Only web page
  • Reciprocal links between NAPO-NE’s web site and their company website
  • Receive a free on-line NAPO-NE yearly newsletter subscription
  • Attend and network at meetings
  • Opportunities to advertise on NAPO-NE’s web site as Sponsors
  • Opportunity to participate in the chapter’s yearly membership drive incentive program
  • Opportunity to display marketing materials at meetings
  • Offer special savings to consumers and NAPO-NE members as desired
