"How to Add Time Management Consulting
to Your Organizing Business"

This 3-hour workshop will help you transfer key time management information and techniques to your clients as well as provide you with ideas for expanding your own business. Topics covered in the first section will include goal setting, planning & scheduling, prioritizing, managing email, life balance, simplification, multitasking and the most common time management problems experienced by clients. The second part of the workshop will discuss product development, sponsoring of workshops, and obtaining exposure and credibility through the written word. There will also be an “Ask the expert” session to allow for your questions and concerns in the area of time management.

By the end of this workshop, you will have:

  • 6 participative exercises to use with your clients to demonstrate key time management strategies.
  • A typed list of 25 of the most important time management strategies, along with brief descriptions, to pass along to your clients.
  • The top ten time management problems experienced by business clients over the past 10 years, and a copy of the survey form used to determine these.
  • A checklist of 50 suggestions for managing time effectively.
  • Information on how to expand your business through workshops, product, and articles.
  • Answers to your questions on time management theories and practices.

About the workshop leader:

Harold Taylor, CSP, president of Harold Taylor Time Consultants Ltd., has been speaking, writing and conducting training programs on the topic of effective time management for over 25 years. He has written 17 books, including a Canadian bestseller, Making Time Work For You. He has developed over 50 time management products that have sold in 38 countries around the world. His monthly Time Management Report has been published for twenty-five years and he has had over 300 articles accepted for publication.

A past director of the National Association of Professional Organizers, Harold received the Founder's Award in 1999 for outstanding contributions to the organizing profession. He received the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) designation in 1987 from the National Speakers Association. In 1998 the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers inducted him into the Canadian Speaking Hall of Fame. And in 2001, he received the Founder's Award from the Professional Organizers in Canada. The award has been named in his honor.

Prior to his speaking career, Harold held management positions in industry for twelve years and taught business subjects for eight years at Humber College in Toronto. He has been an entrepreneur for over thirty-five years, incorporating four companies during that time. Since 1981, when he incorporated the time management company, he has presented over 2000 workshops, speeches and keynotes on the topic of time and life management.
